Tittle Town USA

Today ESPN was in town to tape a pep rally at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. Massillon has been nominated as one of the top 20 sports towns in the USA. Here is a link to the news story about the contest, http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/titletown/index and also our local news report, http://www.woio.com/global/video/flash/popupplayer.asp?vt1=v&clipFormat=flv&clipId1=2715551&at1=News&h1=Massillon&rnd=35435404

Voting begins on Thursday July 24th. Massillon is hoping to win the tittle of Tittle Town USA. It was a hot afternoon and rainy evening, but that didn't keep the Massillon Tiger Nation away. We started our usual tailgating around 3:00 and headed into the stadium around 5:45. The pep rally and taping began around 6pm and was shortly interrupted by a minor thunderstorm. Everything wrapped up around 8:30. It will air on Wednesday July 23rd on Sport Center on ESPN at 6 and 11 pm. Not sure if we made it on TV but we tried. Here are some pictures I took before we headed into the stadium, and one from inside the stadium.
