Sorry for not blogging

I just want to apologize for not posting lately. We had Mark's Mom and Step-Dad over for a cookout while they were in town, been outside enjoying the summer weather, having an on going yard sale and just last week Brady was very sick with Strep. He was running a fever of almost 105 for 2 days.

He is feeling much better now and we have all caught up on our rest. Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July!!!! We had a few friends over for a cookout and watched the fireworks from our driveway. Brady did not get to see fireworks this time. He fell asleep around 9:30. He was exhausted.

We leave for vacation in a month!!!!!!! The family is heading to Wisconsin again this year for Mark's family reunion. We are going to drive this year and make an extended trip out of it. As of right now we plan on stopping in Chicago to visit the Navy Pier and some museums and stopping at the Madison Zoo. I'm very excited for Mark's family to meet Brady.

Brady had his 15 month check up last week. He now weighs 22 lbs. and is 29 in. tall. He is doing great and is in great health. We had slowly started transitioning him to whole milk. Starting tomorrow he will be on all whole milk. He has had no trouble with it so far. Our next step is to slowly transition him to a sippy cup. He takes his juice or water from it but wants nothing to do with it when milk is in it. As far as eating he will almost eat everything we put in front of him . He is loving the fresh fruit and corn on the cob I pick up from the produce stands. He loves to feed himself.
