As I shout from the roof tops WE ARE OUT OF PGN--WE ARE OUT OF PGN!!!!!!!!! We were submitted on 8/30 and got out on 10/29. (Found out late Friday night 11/2).
Now what does that mean you ask. Our paperwork has gone through 3 different reviewers, which they did not find anything wrong with or any mistakes. We have got the final approval to go ahead with the adoption. Brady is now 100% ours.
The next few steps will be having the birth mother sign off all rights (she has already done that), our attorney has to go to the city of Antigua where Brady was born and get a new birth certificate with our names and Brady's new last name on it. We can not officially change Brady's first and middle name till we re-adopt him here in Ohio. He will be coming home as Michael Josue`,but when we re-adopt him he will be Brady Michael. Then they have to get him a passport, and do the second round of DNA testing. All should take around 6 weeks or less, hopefully no longer. Which means I will be on a plane before Christmas to go pick up our son. What a great Christmas present!!!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!! We are going out tonight for dinner to celebrate. Please keep those still waiting to bring their children home in your prayers.
